Carla – Counsellor & Relationship Therapist
Carla is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with almost 20 years of experience providing therapeutic support to individuals, couples and families.
Carla has worked in a variety of settings, including school and youth counselling, trauma counselling, and family/parent support services. Through her experience, she has had exposure to a diverse range of individuals from various cultural backgrounds. She is experienced in providing quality support and treatment for a range of mental health and life issues, such as anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, abuse, marital or relationship issues, family conflict, anger management, and grief.
Carla is trained in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Jungian analysis, short-term counselling, person-centred therapy and trauma-informed practice. With a broad range of therapeutic approaches in her toolkit, Carla uses a combination of different modalities tailored to her client’s needs.
In addition to her work in private practice, Carla works as a teacher of trainee counsellors. She holds a Masters in Analytical Psychology and a Masters of Social Work. Carla is also bilingual, fluent in both English and Arabic.
