Rose – Registered Mental Health Social Worker & Couples Counsellor

As a counsellor, psychotherapist and Registered Mental Health Social Worker, Rose is highly experienced and equipped to support clients with a range of emotional, psychological and relationship issues. She has over 20 years of experience and holds a Clinical Master of Counselling, a Graduate Diploma in Adult Psychotherapy and is trained in Trauma Therapy. Rose builds excellent relationships with her clients through her warm and caring approach, while also providing practical support through various mild to complex issues.

Rose has worked private practice, community health, private psychiatric hospitals, and university counselling services. Rose adapts the therapeutic process dependent on the needs of her clients but often draws on psychodynamic techniques to explore the deeper issues and emotional patterns impacting her clients’ wellbeing. Rose is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is often used to assist in the treatment of trauma.
